You gotta listen to the impact of Clare Torrys vocals on Pink Floyds "The Great Gig in the Sky" - the difference between a good song & an amazing one
But to me "The Great Gig in the Sky" is always the heart of the album. Its a rip-roaring, energetic, soulful prog rock masterpiece, without that incredible vocal performance from Clare Torry it wouldnt be half the song it is.
